FAQs

Do I need prior dance experience to join Rhythm Studios?

Not at all! Our classes are designed for adults of all abilities, from complete beginners to those with some experience. Whether you're new to dance or looking to get back into it, Rhythm Studios is here to welcome you.

What types of dance classes do you offer?

We currently offer tap and jazz classes. Both are beginner-friendly and help build fitness, coordination, and creativity. Check out our class schedule to see which one suits you best!

What should I wear to class?

Wear comfortable, breathable clothing that allows for movement. Tap shoes are recommended for tap classes, but if you’re just starting out, any flat, sturdy shoes will work. Jazz classes are best with sneakers, barefoot or jazz shoes.

Do you offer classes for younger dancers?

We specialise in classes just for adults ages over 18 yrs. All ages and abilities are welcome to join which ensure a fun, laid-back environment where everyone can feel comfortable dancing at their own pace.

What are the benefits of starting dance as an adult?

Dancing as an adult improves fitness, reduces stress, boosts confidence, sharpens memory, and connects you with a fun and supportive community. We focus on the joy and health benefits of dance & our goal is to create a pressure-free space where you can enjoy dancing, learn something new, and feel part of a supportive community.

Where are your classes located?

We offer classes on Tuesday nights in 2 locations:

Burleigh Heads @ NAPA

Palm Beach @ the Palm Beach Community Centre.

Can I take classes at more than one location?

Yes! You’re welcome to join classes wherever it’s most convenient for you.

How do I sign up for a class?

You can sign up online through our website. Just head to our Classes page, choose your preferred class, and complete the booking form. If you need any help, feel free to reach out!

Will I get individual feedback in group classes?

Yes, even in group settings, our teachers make time to give individual guidance and encouragement to help each dancer grow.

I’m nervous about trying dance for the first time. Is that normal?

Absolutely! Starting something new can be intimidating, but at Rhythm Studios, we’re all about having fun and enjoying the process. Our teachers and community are here to support you every step of the way.
